Ms. Chilcoat

Welcome to Miss Chilcoat’s Fifth-Grade class!

This year marks the beginning of my twenty-sixth year of teaching. I am so thrilled to be here as a member of the Edgemere community. Everyone has made me feel so welcome. In my tenure at BCPS, I have taught all subject areas in third, fourth, and fifth grades. I was also a mentor teacher for seven years prior to returning to the classroom. I am looking forward to an exciting and educational school year!

I love animals, and have a dog and two horses. I live in Perry Hall with my two great-nephews who attend Sparrows Point Middle School in the sixth grade.

This year of learning in our fifth-grade class will be filled with excitement and discovery, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to build and maintain strong relationships with you and your child!
