| Math is a very important part of early learning. With this in mind, we have taken steps to ensure student success in this area. First, class time in math has been extended, allowing for concept exploration and skill extension. Second, we are taking part in a pilot program through the BCPS Math Office that teaches math in creative ways. This pilot uses Houghton Mifflin Expressions materials and is being utilized in one classroom in each grade level. Once this pilot is over these classes may resume teaching from the current math texts provided by McGraw-Hill. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
